The heart of the mountain

Imagine yourself in this space, this cave that you have climbed the mountain to enter.

It is the heart of the mountain.  Within each and every one of us there is a sacred silent place where we know the truth and where we can rest at the center of being, listening to the sound of silence thunder.   Anahata Chakra, the heart center is the cave of the silent, unstruck sound.  In this silent sacred space the light shines and we feel the vibration of eternity.  It is called the place of the unstruck sound, that which emanates from the center of being creating what is seen.

Rod Styker says it is the place where “no sorrow can enter.”  There is a light in the heart that is beyond all sorrow where eternal joy resides. The only way to enter is through love.  Look at the image above and seat yourself in the center of the light.  Close your eyes and listen to your heart beat, the rhythmic pulse of your existence.  Wind is the element of the spiritual heart center.  Listen to the sound of your breath, a whisper from your soul saying I am here.  The song your heart sings repeats with every heartbeat is one of joy but it is also fierce in defending the life that pulses through it.  Let your heart sing, in silence  –  listen and rejoice or sing along. OM  So ham… I am.
